Dr. Sandeep Rai practices as Senior Consultant Diabetologist at the Apollo Hospital, Navi Mumbai, and has over 30 years of Experience in treating Diabetes & Thyroid patients. He was earlier working as Consultant Physician at the reputed Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. He is presently also the Unit Head and Senior Professor in Post Graduate Department of Medicine and Heading the Division of Diabetology at the Mahatma Gandhi Mission Institute of Health Sciences, which is a 1000 bedded, state of art, tertiary health care Hospital in Navi Mumbai. He is also In charge of Advanced Centre of Diabetes Care & Research at MGM.

He is National Board certified Medical Specialist (Diplomate of National Board) , Member of National Academy of Medical Science and is also attached as Consultant Physician & Diabetologist in other prestigious Hospitals including, MGM New Bombay Hospital, Vashi, Reliance Hospital, Kopar Khairane & MGM Institute of Health Sciences, Navi Mumbai. He has been an Guest Faculty in Mayo Clinic (USA), Diabetes Symposiums for many years and the Cleveland Clinic (USA) advanced Diabetes courses. He is also a visiting faculty to Guys Hospital London which is attached to Kings College London. He has been awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians UK (FRCP), Membership American College of Physicians, Fellowship of Diabetes India & International Membership of American College of Cardiology.
